Kershaw Kai Luna 8-inch Chef’s Knife – High-Carbon Stainless Steel Hammered Satin Blade Black/Gray Soft-Grip Handle KAI7066

The Kai Luna Chef’s Knife (KAI7066) is the quintessential multi-purpose tool for every kitchen, designed to excel where other knives fall short. Whether you are a professional chef or a home cooking enthusiast, this 8-inch powerhouse is engineered to handle the widest range of culinary tasks—from dicing hearty root vegetables to mincing delicate herbs with razor-sharp precision. Combining Japanese-inspired performance with modern ergonomic comfort, the Kai Luna series offers professional-grade quality at an exceptional value.

The blade is forged from high-carbon DIN1.4116 stainless steel, a premium alloy prized for its remarkable corrosion resistance and its ability to take and hold a wicked edge. Each blade is hand-sharpened to a precise 16° cutting angle on each side, ensuring effortless, clean cuts that preserve the flavor and texture of your ingredients. To prevent food from sticking to the blade, the Luna features a beautiful hammered satin finish, creating air pockets that improve slicing efficiency. The handle is built for long prep sessions, utilizing a molded resin core with soft-grip overlays to ensure a secure, slip-resistant hold even when working with wet hands.
