Helle Allmenn Fixed Blade Knife, Dyed Curly Birch Handle, 12C27 Stainless, Leather Sheath

The Helle Allmenn lives up to its name. “Allmenn” is Norwegian for “for everyone,” and this knife delivers exactly that: a versatile, well-balanced outdoor fixed blade that fits most hands comfortably and handles the full range of camp and trail tasks without breaking a sweat. Introduced in 2026, it is one of the newest additions to the Helle lineup and already stands out as a go-to option for anyone who wants genuine Scandinavian craftsmanship at an accessible price.

The handle is shaped from dyed curly birch in rich red and black tones, producing a distinctive flame pattern that makes every Allmenn visually unique. The ergonomic belly provides a secure, confident grip across a wide range of hand sizes, and the balanced proportions mean you can work with it for extended periods without fatigue. The 12C27 stainless steel blade features a classic Scandi grind, which is the ideal geometry for outdoor knives: it takes a razor-sharp edge, holds it well through real-world use, and is easy to restore to shaving sharp with minimal effort in the field. At 3.54 inches, the blade length hits the sweet spot between capable and packable.

The knife comes with a vegetable-dyed black genuine leather sheath in the traditional belt-hanging style, giving you secure carry and fast access on any adventure. Whether you are buying your first Scandinavian outdoor knife or adding to a collection, the Allmenn punches well above its price point.
