Microtech Akris – 3.70″ Bohler M390MK Straight Back Stonewash Plain Edge Blade, Ember G-10 Handle, Leather Sheath- 95-10EM-1

The Microtech Akris is a compact fixed blade built for everyday carry — a 3.70″ straight back in Bohler M390MK that sits closer in size to a large folder than a traditional field knife, making it a genuine pocket-friendly fixed blade option.

The steel is Bohler M390MK, Microtech’s in-house processed variant of Böhler M390, hardened to 61–62 HRC. At that hardness, M390MK delivers edge retention that outlasts most production fixed blade steels while maintaining corrosion resistance for carry in varied environments. The flat grind and stonewash finish keep the geometry clean and the surface resistant to surface marking in daily use.

The handle is ember G-10 — a high-visibility orange with a textured 3D machined surface that provides positive grip without aggressive edges. At 4.49″ and 6.20 oz total, this is a carry knife first. The included handcrafted dark chocolate leather sheath with belt loop positions it for waistband or pack carry without the bulk of a full-size fixed blade kit.

Designed by Tony Marfione and made in the USA.

Ideal for EDC users who want fixed blade reliability in a package that carries like a large folder. A natural choice for outdoorsmen and hikers who need a compact utility blade without the mechanical complexity of a folding knife. Works well for buyers stepping up from production folders who want their first serious fixed blade in a high-performance steel without going to a full-size camp knife.
